Jay’s 22nd Annual Telemiracle Golf Classic
Jay’s Moving and Storage is honoured to announce that we have reached a milestone in our fundraising efforts for Kinsmen Telemiracle. The 22nd Annual Telemiracle Golf Classic, along with numerous staff steak nights, community dances and other fundraisers, has resulted in a grand total of $1,003,518 raised to help people gain access to special equipment and medical assistance.
This year, our Telemiracle Golf Classic took place June 7th at the Harbor Golf Club in Elbow Saskatchewan. An amazing total of 134 major sponsors, 260 hole sponsors and many more prize sponsors helped us provide an exciting event that pushed our fundraising efforts for 2013 to $124,906.
Participants in the golf tournament certainly enjoyed themselves despite somewhat less than stellar weather conditions. Winners of the 2013 Telemiracle Golf Classic are:
1st Place Team
David Dueck, Mike Ryan, Kevin Taylor, Jack Mullock
2nd Place Team

Of course the real winners will be all those people who will benefit from our fundraising through the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation. They will use the money to purchase wheelchairs, ceiling track systems, portable lifts and ramps, respiratory assist devices and other medical equipment for people who would find it difficult or impossible to afford. They will be able to offer funding for travel, meals and accommodations to people who need to access medical treatments away from home, not uncommon in a province as large and lightly populated as Saskatchewan. The Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation also helps care homes and health facilities acquire modern, specialized medical equipment that is not fully funded by the government.
Jay’s Moving and Storage would like to thank every participant, volunteer and sponsor who has contributed so generously to our Annual Golf Classic and all our other fundraising efforts allowing us to reach the million dollar milestone. Now, what goal shall we aim for next year?
